This is a full-time regular position offering excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and 401(k) plans, paid vacation and sick time, plus more.

Responsibilities

• The Merchandiser’s primary responsibility is to distribute inventory for each account by restocking all coolers and in-store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products on the sales floor while maintaining quality control and freshness standards.
• Maintain a high level of neatness and cleanliness in each store’s displays and coolers to present the products in an attractive manner.
• Store reserve inventory in the proper designated area for later restocking; rotate stock according to expiration date; set up and/or build new displays as instructed.
• Maintain strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales.
• Travel from account to account and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current valid personal automobile insurance.
• Fast-paced self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to learn new skills.
• Ability to work effectively without close supervision.
• Prior merchandising or stocking experience in a retail sales environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to advance within the company’s sales team.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to temperature fluctuations and work inside coolers.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting of beverage products.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds, handle loaded carts and dollies.
• Schedule includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday work plus two other shifts during the week.
