Job Description

Responsible for daily stocking, rotating, pulling of products, and product displays at customer locations in a timely and accurate manner. The role operates under minimal to direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely work that meets customer needs and departmental goals. It also emphasizes a safe and clean work environment through adherence to company safety and cleaning policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily visits to Odom customer locations to merchandise and maintain products through stocking, rotating, dusting, and building displays.
• Stocks and rotates products on the floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, and type.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in product distribution.
• Performs essential duties on time, efficiently, accurately, safely, within peak operation constraints.
• Accurately documents number of products received, distributed, or set aside due to damage or "out‑of‑date".
• Participates in on‑the‑job training related to Odom procedures regarding merchandiser duties.
• Ensures a safe and clean working area during shift by disposing of trash and empty boxes before leaving each customer account.
• Displays promotional materials, such as POS and signage, following company and store policies.
• Builds displays according to supervisor/sales representative directions.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have proof of insurance.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to accounts.
• Capability to lift cases and display units sometimes over 70 pounds repetitively.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior retail stocking experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Operates a pallet jack and hand cart to transport products safely.
• Continuous lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of 27–55 pounds, occasionally up to 170 pounds.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, lift from floor to waist and up to overhead, use hands, reach, talk, and hear; occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Work Environment

• Moderate to occasional high noise level due to external environment.
• Employees required to work in retail distributor locations, varying lighting and temperature conditions.
