Job summary

Johnson Brothers is a family-owned beverage distributor seeking a Merchandiser to support the Chain Retail Division across markets. You will deliver orders, rotate stock, stock shelves, and build displays according to route plans provided by management.

Responsibilities include merchandising, assisting with deliveries, and resetting stores within the assigned territory while staying informed about industry trends and company initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; additional education preferred.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Previous sales, merchandising or pull-up experience preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and beer beverage industry a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Satisfactory driving record and active driver’s license for the state you reside in
• Must be able to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly.
• Must pass criminal background and MVR.

The Merchandiser role assists the Chain Retail Division in each market. Duties include delivering orders, rotating back stock, stocking shelves, displaying PO’s and building displays. Merchandiser to receive the daily route via email from the Warehouse Manager and/or Merchandising Manager after orders have been fulfilled.

Job Description:

• Provide excellent customer service to accounts
• Stocking, merchandising, and rotating products on displays and the shelf
• Run routes and support major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading product, checking in and stocking order
• Build wine and beer displays
• Assist in completing store resets in established territory
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations

Job Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• Must be able to work assigned work schedule which may include weekends
• Previous sales, merchandising or pull-up experience preferred
• Knowledgeable of wine and beer beverage industry a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Satisfactory driving record and active driver’s license for the state you reside in
• Must be able to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly
