Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchan­diser to stock shelves, set up displays, and manage backroom organization. You will also handle product orders and assist customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours. PBV emphasizes teamwork and strong follow-up skills to ensure accurate deliveries and promotions across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to perform basic financial calculations.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.

Merchandiser Role Overview

Merchandises products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor. Accurately orders product for the next delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sells and executes all promotions.
• Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
• Develops good customer relations.
• Services all customers as scheduled.
