Job summary

DeCrescente Distributing Company is looking for enthusiastic Retail Merchandisers to ensure products are well displayed and easy to find. You will stock coolers and shelves, rotate items, and price products accurately, while recording daily activities on a company-issued iPhone.

The role supports POS materials setup, handles damages, and assists sales initiatives across multiple NY counties; full-time schedule is Fri–Sun plus one weekday, with strong benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with smartphones.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Merchandising experience or beverage industry is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and coolers; build and maintain product displays.
• Rotate products and accurately price items for customers.
• Record daily account activity using a company-issued iPhone and complete admin tasks weekly.
• Set up POS materials, handle damages, and support sales initiatives in assigned stores.
• Arrive at first scheduled account and maintain proper visual merchandising standards.

Location: Multiple counties in NY (Albany, Columbia, Greene, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Schoharie, Schenectady, Saratoga, Warren, Washington)

Schedule: Full-Time, Friday–Sunday + one weekday
Start Time: 4:00 AM
Base Pay: $23.00/hr

• Incremental retention increases every 6 months for employees in good standing
• $250eligible to earn Quarterly volume bonus, Max of $1000 annually
• Full-time merchandiser in good standing can earn upwards of $54,000 annually after two years of employment.

Job Summary

As a Merchandiser, you’ll ensure our products look great and are easy for customers to find. You’ll stock coolers and shelves, build and maintain displays, rotate products, and accurately price items. You’ll also record daily account activity using a company-issued iPhone and maintain proper administrative work weekly.

Other responsibilities include setting up POS materials, handling damages, and supporting sales initiatives in your assigned stores.

• Arrive at first scheduled account per management direction
• Stock shelves and coolers neatly, ensuring proper rotation
• Build and maintain product displays

Communication & Reporting

• Check voicemail at least every 2 hours
• Use company-issued iPhone to call in orders
• Submit weekly administrative work by Friday
• Attend quarterly merchandising meetings

Equipment & Appearance

• Wear company-issued uniform and steel-toed boots
• Maintain and bring all necessary equipment (price gun, case cards, labels, box cutter, tape, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years general employment or equivalent combination of experience and education
• At least 1 year merchandising or related experience (beverage industry preferred)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills and advanced iPhone knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Work safely and follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Report all injuries or accidents immediately (within 1 hour)
• Exposure to retail coolers, basements, and backrooms
• Ability to lift up to 165 lbs to waist height
• Frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, stretching, and carrying 10–40 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
• Ability to climb ladders for POS placement
