Core-Mark is seeking a driven Merchandiser in Buffalo, NY to implement product displays, maintain planograms, and keep retail locations merchandised for optimal sales. This field-based role requires daily use of your own reliable vehicle and a strong commitment to customer service.

You will service assigned stores, collaborate with store staff on needs, stock and price products, set up fixtures, and monitor shelf performance.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising experience required.
• Must be able to interpret and execute planograms.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance and must be able to travel to customer locations.
• Driver's license with clear driving record.
• Frequent activity: lift products weighing 5–25 lbs; may lift up to 70 lbs.

Position Details:

• Pay: $20.00/hour
• Shift times: Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm
• Car allowance + Mileage reimbursement
• Earn average $600+ per month through the CarData vehicle reimbursement program (vehicle must meet company standards)
• Some overnights may be required based on business needs (hotel covered and paid per diem)

Position Overview:

As a Merchandiser you will play a key role in supporting our convenience store partners by implementing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring our retail locations are properly merchandised for maximum sales and profitability. This position requires professionalism, diligence, and a strong commitment to customer service. This field-based role requires daily use of your own reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Meet with store owners and staff to assess needs and deliver high-quality merchandising support.
• Place and organize merchandise in designated display areas, following detailed planograms to ensure all product placements align with Core-Mark standards.
• Set up and reset store fixtures, shelves, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated products as needed.
• Provide stocking, pricing, shelf-facing, product rotation, and routine shelf and product cleaning.
• Monitor product performance using sales velocity reports supplied by the company and suggest discontinuing or replacing specific items in each store to help boost sales and profits.
• Monitor potential account problems and elevate concerns to Sales Representatives or Sales Managers.
• Ensure store aisles remain clean and safe for shoppers and store staff.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving concerns professionally.
• Maintain and care for assigned equipment.
• Accurately complete and submit timesheets and activity logs.
• Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing: 70% | Sitting: 30%
• Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, squatting, turning, twisting, and climbing.
• Regular lifting of 5-25 lbs.; occasional lifting to 70 lbs.
