Job summary

Sam’s Club is seeking a merchandising and stocking associate in the Wilkes-Barre area. You will help members find items, unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist with club pick-up orders. The role is physical and fast-paced, with emphasis on safety and teamwork to keep the store neat and member-ready.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs, guiding purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintains sales floor and presentation by zoning areas, stocking, arranging, and pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Monitors product quality through rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensures prominent displays of promotions.
• Adheres to policies and Open Door policy while executing business processes and programs.
• Completes tasks by coordinating with managers and coworkers, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to feedback and change.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy.
