Job summary

Disney is seeking a Merchandise Planning Intern in Orlando for a full-time, six-month internship from January 2027 to June 2027. You will support quarterly and annual assortment planning, analyze item performance, and work with the Planner to launch products while handling routine analyses to maximize sales and reduce risk.

You will review weekly sales, communicate assortment changes, and coordinate with Location Strategy & Allocation to ensure in-stock items across locations.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class at application time
• Be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted work authorization

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual assortment planning and analyze performance
• Identify stock issues and communicate solutions with the Planner
• Support special projects and run routine analyses to maximize sales and minimize risk
• Review weekly sales and share recommendations to boost business
• Communicate assortment changes to guide future orders
• Coordinate with Location Strategy & Allocation to ensure in-stock items
• Help prepare presentations for leadership on program results and strategies
