Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Merchandise Planner to own planning across multiple product categories, drive demand forecasts, manage Open-to-Buy, and optimize inventory in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will partner with merchandising to translate data, market trends, and customer insights into commercial decisions, influencing assortment and financial performance with data-driven analysis and AI-enhanced workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in assortment, demand, or merchandising planning.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving with retail math.
• Excel proficiency including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; quick to learn new tools.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for leadership audiences.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in merchandising decisions.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) for work.
• Preferred: softgoods or apparel planning experience; familiarity with planning platforms (JDA, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan).

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive merchandise plans across multiple product categories.
• Own Open-to-Buy planning, reviews, and monthly business discussions with senior leadership.
• Forecast demand using historical data, trends, and insights.
• Monitor inventory, sell-through, and propose actions to optimize turnover.
• Translate financial results into actionable merchandising recommendations.
• Manage division financial performance against sales, margin, and inventory targets.
• Ensure planning reports are accurate and aligned with best practices.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve performance and communicate them clearly.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and influence decisions with data-driven analyses.
