Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. in Ottawa, KS is seeking a Merchandise Processor to support stores and customers through loading/unloading shipments, unpacking/packing products, ticketing, counting and filling orders. This full-time role moves quickly in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

You will ensure safety, perform order picking/sorting/packing with technology, count and verify merchandise, and maintain quality standards while being flexible for other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or some high school.
• Adaptable to change by working within different departments.
• Excellent counting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
• Perform picking, sorting, and packing orders using technology.
• Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise for orders.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned.
