Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling to enhance the customer experience. You will report to the RPSO Manager and work in a Neiman Marcus store location.

You will perform daily tasks including merchandise transfers, fulfillment of online and store orders, price changes, reticketing, and stockroom maintenance. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks with a 'win together' mentality.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
• Able to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers and processing inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store orders.
• Complete merchandise placements to meet standards and signage.
• Reticketing and inventory control including damages and stockouts.
• Maintain back stock and stockroom organization.
• Assist with in-store events and activations and follow safety procedures.

Job Description:

YOU WILL BE:

As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform operational, daily tasks to support store sales, profitability and enhance the customer experience. You report to the RPSO Manager and work in a Neiman Marcus store location

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers including:
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product once marked
• Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes
• Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance
• Under the guidance and direction of Managers and Visual, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.
• Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• 1+ year of retail experience

• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds

Salary Range $17.05 - $21.32*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
