Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support daily store operations and optimize the customer experience at a Neiman Marcus store location. You will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling under the RPSO Manager’s direction.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, flexibility with tasks, and basic MS Office skills. You will contribute to inventory accuracy, price changes, and event setup while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks with a "win together" mentality.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
• Standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 35 pounds may be required.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and assist with directing leads and managers.
• Handle merchandise transfers, inbound/outbound freight, and stockroom organization.
• Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
• Ensure merchandise standards and correct signage are in place.
• Reticketing, price changes, and inventory control processes.
• Support set-up and breakdown of in-store events and activations.

You Will Be

As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform operational, daily tasks to support store sales, profitability and enhance the customer experience. You report to the RPSO Manager and work in a Neiman Marcus store location

What You Will Do

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers including:


• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight


• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders


• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed


• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product once marked


• Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes


• Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance


• Under the guidance and direction of Managers and Visual, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.


• Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations


• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas
