Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support daily merchandise processing, placement, and fulfillment on the selling floor. You will help maintain visual standards and participate in floor projects and replenishment to ensure a premium in-store experience.

You will locate merchandise for customer orders, provide excellent service, and handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed. Flexibility and teamwork are essential in this part-time role.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift cartons and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Experience maintaining visual standards and floor presentation.
• Proficient with computer tools: Excel/Word and store tech (RF guns, tablets).

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and place it on the selling floor.
• Maintain standards in placement and presentation across the floor.
• Participate in store projects, replenishment, and floor recovery.
• Locate requested merchandise for customer orders and fulfill them.
• Provide responsive customer service and address needs quickly.
• Support ad hoc tasks as needed.

YOU WILL BE: •Under the leadership and reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager, the Merchandise Operations Associate supports the daily operations of merchandise including processing, placement, maintenance and fulfillment. •Demonstrates comfort in flexing all communication styles and establishes positive interpersonal relationships •Evaluates progress against key performance drivers and assess organizational opportunities and risks •Drives positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and results •Consistently generates and shares original ideas, tackling both simple and complex problems WHAT YOU WILL DO: Merchandise: •Process inbound merchandise, placement and presentation of merchandise on selling floor. •Follow direction in maintaining standards in placement and presentation. •Participate when needed in other store projects, including fill in of merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery and supply replenishment.
