Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Grader to help ensure the quality of donated goods for store and online sale, supporting our mission to create job training opportunities while contributing to environmental goals in the community.

In this fast-paced role you will examine and grade items, process goods to meet daily production targets, and pivot to multiple work areas as needed, while communicating effectively with management and peers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
