Job summary

Marshalls in Alexandria, LA is hiring a Merchandise Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, assist customers, and keep the store clean and organized. You will train Associates, manage back stock, tag and code merchandise, and participate in shrink reduction while upholding safety and labor policies.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, organizing backroom areas, and maintaining visual standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Ensures Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
