Living Spaces Furniture in La Mirada, CA is seeking an entry-level Merchandise Coordinator to manage data across merchandising systems and oversee sample logistics for stores and online.

You will coordinate with vendors on samples, update signage, and create kits for selling, serving as a gatekeeper of product attribution. No prior merchandising experience required beyond the stated basics.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. 1–2 years in retail merchandising or sales preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Product Information systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete Inriver requests / New SKU creation.
• Support and maintain kit creation for new collections and web optimization.
• Ensure all product attributes are updated, maintained, and accurate.
• Execute price & retail changes.
• Create and update POP and tearsheets.
• Set up and maintain special order SKUs and fabrics per category.
• Maintain special order fabric handle assortment list as applicable.
• Oversee logistics for fabric swatch cards for stores per category.
• Maintain war room and fabric swatch library for the category.
• Respond to store feedback via Jira for attribution, pricing, POP, tearsheets.
• Create work front tickets for samples or product photography.

Position Summary

The Merchandise Coordinators are the governors of data. They keep records accurate and are experts in all merchandising systems. They are responsible for overseeing the logistics of getting samples and ensuring smooth execution on store floor and online. They coordinate with vendors on samples, update any in store signage, create kits for selling, and are the gatekeepers of attribution. This is an entry level position into merchandising.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• CompleteInriver requests / New SKU creation
• Supportandmaintainkit creation for new collections and any additional needs for web optimization
• Ensureall product attributes are updated, maintained, and accurate
• Executeprice & retail changes
• CreateandupdatePOP and tearsheets
• Set upandmaintainspecial order SKUs and fabrics if applicable per coordinator's designated category(s)
• Maintainspecial order fabric handle assortment list if applicable per coordinator's designated category(s)
• Overseeall logistics in coordinating new and replacement fabric swatch cards for stores if applicable per coordinator's designated category(s)
• Maintainwar room for respective category samples;cleanandorganizefinish panel and fabric swatch library
• Receiveandrespondto store communication feedback via Jira for tickets related to attribution, pricing, POP, and tearsheets
• Creatework front tickets for samples or additional product photography, including all other logistics required in coordinating receipt and setup of samples for buyer review and sell-off.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. 1-2 years of work experience in retail merchandising or sales. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word & Excel. Experience in Product Information systems is preferred.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $21.00 - $27.25

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
