Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
9. When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
10. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Help manage freight flow and meet or exceed productivity standards.
13. Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
14. Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
15. Plan and maintain merchandising displays, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
16. Participate in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
