Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Ensure all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates
• Process all SSC Corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Help manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Support the planning, merchandising, and maintenance of Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
