Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, take direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures.
10. Help manage freight flow and merchandise stocking, including frozen and refrigerated items.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
13. Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items.
14. Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
