Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following policies
• Manage freight flow and ensure sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining stockroom organization
• Help plan, merchandise, and maintain sales-effective displays and monthly sales plans

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
