Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Keeping the store, stockroom, and sales floor organized and clean.
9. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
10. Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
11. Assisting with receipt, return of DSD merchandise, and freight management.
12. Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and planning merchandising strategies.
13. Participating in planning and executing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
