Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery.
9. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
11. Handling receipt and return of merchandise, following policies.
12. Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
13. Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and merchandising standards.
14. Planning and implementing sales strategies and merchandising plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
