Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Keeping all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. Assuming direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
13. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
14. Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
15. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
16. Planning, merchandising, and maintaining promotional displays and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
