Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockrooms and sales floors, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Enhancing promotional displays and seasonal store areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
