Job summary

Michael Kors is seeking an Allocator to manage merchandise allocation for a global retail business, ensuring stock and assortment align with sales goals. You will identify opportunities at the store level and coordinate with buying/planning teams to drive profitability.

Responsibilities include PO allocation, warehouse back stock management, store transfers, and replenishment while leveraging strong Excel skills and analytical thinking. Hybrid NYC-based role requiring 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

  • Interest in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain.
  • 0–1 year planning or allocation experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders from initial allocation through end of life cycle of merchandise.
  • Manage overall store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and selling curves.
  • Identify and communicate sales opportunities and stock liabilities by door on a regular basis.
  • Ensure stock position by door on core, seasonal basics and item programs.
  • Manage basic stock replenishment programs.
  • Take ownership of warehouse inventory and aged inventory by door.
  • Recap business at by door level with planning team and create best seller reports.
  • Visit stores monthly with the team to understand merchandising needs.
  • Propose changes to allocation/replenishment procedures.
