Job summary
School Specialty invites you to join the Merchandising Operations and Product Lifecycle Internship at our Greenville, Wisconsin facility. You will gain hands-on experience handling the product life cycle from ideation to disposition and supporting supplier data while ensuring data integrity.
As an onsite, 40-hour-per-week internship for current 4-year college students, you will collaborate with customers, vendors, and carriers, be mentored by a designated leader, and contribute to real projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college/university,Junior or Senior, pursuing a related degree (Business/Merchandising).
- Desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Gain real-world hands-on experience in Merchandising Operations and Product Lifecycle Management.
- Learn cross-functional collaboration with different departments, leaders and vendors.
- Work with the product life cycle from ideation to disposition.
- Support and maintain supplier data, upholding data integrity.
- Communicate directly with customers, vendors, and carriers.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and solve problems.
- Be assigned a mentor to guide development with tasks and projects.
