Job summary

indiGO Auto Group's Mercedes-Benz dealership is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join our state-of-the-art facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment within a globally recognized luxury automotive group.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, detailed work orders, and a strong focus on CSI and sales performance. Compensation includes base hourly pay plus commissions/bonuses, with a pay range of $65,000–$250,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a service advisor role
• Proven track record of CSI and sales history, preferably with a luxury dealership
• Excellent verbal and math skills; may be tested and evaluated
• Ability to communicate both verbally and with written documentation
• Self-motivated and diligent; positive attitude
• Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail
• Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and record the customer's concerns to generate an accurate work order.
• Track the status of open repair orders and update customers and dispatchers with approvals and delays.
• Learn what is covered under warranty for each franchise.
• Contact previous customers and schedule maintenance items.
• Notify customers when ordered parts arrive and schedule work.
• Assist cashier to close tickets and inform customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repair order charges to customers and inform the service manager of issues.
• Aim to meet management metrics for sales per repair order, gross profit, orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

• Greet customers and carefully record the customer's concerns to generate an accurate work order.
• Track the status of open repair orders during the day keeping both the customers and dispatcher updated with approvals and delays.
• Obtain the training necessary to know what is covered under warranty for each franchise.
• Perform regular and scheduled contacts with previous customers and make appointments for maintenance items.
• Make sure all customers have been notified when ordered parts arrive and schedule an appointment to have the work done.
• Help the cashier close tickets and notify customers that their vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repair order charges to customers and promptly notify the service manager of any customer service problems.
• Strive to meet management's metrics for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.

The opportunity is for you if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of CSI and sales history, preferably with a luxury dealership, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and math skills. These skills may be tested and evaluated.

Pay range for this role is: $65,000-$250,000

Employee with be compensated through a combination of hourly pay and commissions/ bonuses, which will vary based on productivity.
