Job summary

Comprehensive Consulting & Management seeks an MEP Superintendent to coordinate startup and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in line with contract documents and schedules.

Responsibilities include bidding support, equipment procurement, critical path development, coordination of startup activities, submittal reviews, and client relations with a focus on quality control and third-party commissioning.

Qualifications

  • A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
  • 4 years experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction.
  • 3 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, Pharma/Biotech MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and Commissioning.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to build and lead a team.
  • Capable in coordinating and scheduling MEP activities
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Effectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of duties
