Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in Dallas seeks an MEP Superintendent to coordinate startup and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in accordance with the contract documents and project schedule.

You will lead bidding and procurement processes, develop the MEP critical path, coordinate field activities, review submittals, organize meetings, and work with subs and the design team to resolve MEP issues while building strong client relations.

MEP Superintendent

Job Description:

The MEP Superintendent’s role is to coordinate and manage all activities related to the construction startup and commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, and control systems in accordance with the contract documents and project schedule.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.

• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.

• 4 years experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction

• 3 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and Commissioning

• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
