Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join our Field Operations Team on field/project based assignments across the United States. You will assist in coordinating MEP activities, review drawings, and help manage subcontractors and safety on site.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read architectural and engineering drawings. This is a hands-on role requiring travel to project sites and a commitment to Gray's safety and

Qualifications

  • Requires a two-year degree or technical school equivalent and at least 10 years of construction experience or 15 years with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in light/heavy industrial construction is highly desired.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and contracts.
  • MS Project and other scheduling software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work for MEP review and approval.
  • Assist in developing MEP project schedule within the overall construction schedule.
  • Assist in pricing work and change orders; coordinate with project manager as needed.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards on site and uphold Gray's QMS program.
  • Coordinate on-site construction activities and manage subcontractors.
