I’m currently representing a well-established construction company that is looking to add an MEP Project Engineer to their team supporting major data center projects in Temple, TX and Austin, TX
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the technical execution of MEP construction activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
- Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, owners, and the project team
- Support procurement of materials and equipment and integrate procurement activities with the project schedule
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout requirements
- Assist with cost control, scheduling, quantity tracking, and project reporting
- Support field teams with technical issues and help ensure installations align with project requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years of relevant construction engineering experience preferred
- MEP, electrical, mechanical experience on a Data Center construction project
- Data center experience is highly valued
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Four year construction related or engineering degree preferred
- PE or FE (a PLUS)
- Salary + 20% uplift
- $7,500 one-time mobilization bonus

Work Arrangement: Onsite with a long weekend home 1x a month
