Mortenson is seeking a MEPT Estimator I - Electrical to lead estimating efforts for small to medium projects, gathering data, calculating quantities, and producing reliable project estimates at our headquarters in Minnesota.
You will collaborate with project teams and estimating leadership, manage bid preparation, coordinate with trade partners and vendors, and help ensure margins, accuracy, and timely bid day presentations.
Mortenson is currently seeking a MEPT Estimator I - Electrical who will be responsible for leading estimating efforts, gathering, calculating, and compiling data to produce project estimates for a small or medium project or in support of a lead estimator on a larger project. This role is located at our Headquarters in MN. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position and the applicant must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (H1B, O‑1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.).
Lead the estimating process, organize plans, and collaborate with the project team and estimating leadership to ensure accurate, margin‑aligned estimates.
The base pay range for this role is \$78,800.00 MIN - \$98,500.00 MAX. The actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%; Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%; Washington, D.C. – 12.5%. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
