Job summary

Messer Construction Co. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support document control for shop drawings, submittals, and daily reports with a mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus.

You will assist with BIM coordination and contribute to project coordination for MEP activities on complex commercial builds. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field and 1–3 years of construction experience, with flexibility to work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control and coordination would be beneficial.
• Ability to work across disciplines including MEP.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide document control for shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos, and daily reports with MEP focus.
• Assist with BIM coordination and integration of mechanical/electrical/plumbing models.
• Support scheduled construction activities with MEP focus and contribute to safety and quality programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will You Do:

• Provide document control including shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos, and daily reports with mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus.
• Assistwith the spatial coordination and assembly of the building information model (BIM) withfocuson the mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus.
• Assistwith scheduled construction activities with MEP focus.
• Support Zero Injury safety program.
• Support the Quality Leadership System
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor'sdegreerequired.Mechanical/Electrical Engineeringor related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of construction experience (including internships and co-ops)
• Ability to work non-traditionalhours
