Job summary

Aerotek Commercial Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Austin, Texas. This full-time position involves project management in water and waste-water design, with a significant focus on pumps and lift stations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, preferably as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Familiarity with SKM PowerTools and AutoCAD is advantageous. This role provides the opportunity to interact directly with clients as projects develop.

Qualifications

Our client, a local MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) firm located in Austin, TX is looking for an Electrical Engineer.

The EE will be driving projects (project management) in following areas of expertise (data centers, waste‑water treatment facilities, etc.). A major component of this role will be interacting with the client as projects progress. Most of the work focus is with water and waste water design (75% has to do with pumps in wells), lift stations, etc.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in water/waste‑water, power distribution experience
• Electrical Engineer, preferably a P.E. that has worked with utility companies
• SKM PowerTools is a bonus (program for power system coordination)
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
