Job summary

Grace Design Studios is looking for an experienced Mechanical and/or Plumbing Designer to join our MEP team in Baton Rouge. This role involves designing HVAC and plumbing systems for various facilities and producing high-quality construction documents using Autodesk Revit.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, a minimum of 3 years of design experience, and strong communication skills. Benefits include employer-paid health insurance, profit-sharing bonuses, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing HVAC and/or plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
• Experience with HVAC load and plumbing sizing calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC and/or plumbing construction documents using Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate designs with architects, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits, and existing condition assessments.
