Job summary

Miller Newell Engineering is expanding in Northwest Arkansas and seeks an MEP Drafter / BIM Technician to support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design for commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the chance to help develop the NWA operations alongside experienced engineering staff.

Qualifications include an associate degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Revit is required, while AutoCAD is preferred.

• Proficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD strongly preferred.

• Develop and maintain 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for MEP systems.
• Support HVAC, plumbing, and electrical layouts in Revit.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
• Coordinate designs across disciplines to ensure constructability.
• Participate in project meetings and internal coordination.
• Maintain drafting standards and quality control.
• Develop BIM standards including Revit Families, Templates, and other Libraries.

Miller Newell Engineering is expanding into Northwest Arkansas and is seeking an MEP Drafter / BIM Technician to play a key role in building our NWA presence. This position will work closely with senior engineering staff to support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design for commercial and industrial projects. While Miller Newell is firmly established in Newport, Arkansas, this role represents an opportunity to help grow and shape our Northwest Arkansas operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
