We are seeking experienced Design Managers to join growing engineering teams across multiple U.S. office locations. This role is responsible for leading the design, coordination, and delivery of commercial and institutional building projects from project development through construction closeout. The Design Manager will oversee design production, mentor engineering staff, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Responsibilities
- Lead design production throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficient execution, and on-time project completion.
- Ensure project quality, efficient execution, and alignment with project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams during project planning, design, and construction.
- Support project scheduling, resource planning, labor forecasting, and budget management to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and occasional site visits while fostering strong communication across project teams.
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in MEP design, mechanical or electrical engineering, building automation systems (BAS/BMS), controls, or building operations.
- Experience leading design teams or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects from design through construction.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support project and client needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering Intern (EI) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
