Job summary

Sharpe Engineering & Consulting, PLLC is seeking an experienced MEP Design Team Lead / Project Engineer to own projects, nurture client relationships, and develop a high-performing design team while staying active in technical design and production.

The role focuses on delivering accurate construction documents, coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy codes, and guiding MEP Designers throughout the project lifecycle, with some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP design, engineering, or project coordination.
• Experience producing and coordinating construction documents for commercial projects.
• Experience working with clients, consultants, contractors, landlords, and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, coordinated MEP construction documents within established project schedules.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy code requirements throughout projects.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to MEP Designers.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to quality and deadlines.
