McGough Construction is seeking MEP/CX field professionals to support its National Travel – Advanced Technology team delivering complex data center, mission-critical, and technically complex projects across the country.

This is a multi-level requisition for MEP/CX Assistant Superintendent and MEP/CX Superintendent opportunities. The appropriate level will be disclosed at offer and will grow with experience, technical leadership, and project ownership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in MEP engineering, design, facility management/operations, or construction management.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls, and specialty building systems.
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities, hospitals, labs or similar technically complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preconstruction planning and coordination activities.
  • Coordinate MEP/CX requirements with Project Management, field leadership, design teams, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support or lead planning related to engineered systems installation, procurement, commissioning, energization, and turnover.
  • At the Superintendent level, manage MEP/CX preconstruction tasks and identify project risks and solutions.
  • Lead or support commissioning and energization activities and ensure readiness for turnover.

The appropriate level will be determined during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, demonstrated capabilities, and project needs, and will be disclosed at the time of offer.Depending on level, this role will support or lead the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and specialty building systems construction and commissioning. Responsibilities increase in scope, independence, technical leadership, and project ownership by level—from supporting assigned MEP/CX scopes and activities to leading MEP/CX execution and serving as a primary technical resource for the project team.Both levels work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project and operations teams to ensure engineered systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.QualificationsRequiredMEP/CX
