Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an MEP coordinator to support installation and commissioning of mission-critical electrical systems, working under supervision to assist with documentation and coordination across field teams.

You will help review drawings and submittals, participate in site inspections, and maintain thorough project documentation while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years construction experience (electrical preferred).
  • 2 years trade school/college or journeyman equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviews of drawings, submittals, equipment lists, and commissioning requirements; capture corrective actions in Procore.
  • Support site inspections, TMS inspection/termination, PQM and punch-list closeout, and yellow-tag inspections.
  • Contribute to weekly MEP status reporting; attend project meetings and track action items.
  • Follow LOTO and PPE requirements; uphold site safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation (photos, checklists, punch items) and communicate status/risks to project leadership.

MEP coordinator supporting senior staff during installation and commissioning of mission-critical electrical systems (e.g., UPS, switchgear). Works under supervision, assists with documentation, inspections, safety, and coordination across field teams.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with reviews of drawings, submittals, equipment lists, and commissioning requirements; capture corrective actions in Procore.

Skills and Requirements
  • 3–5 years construction experience (electrical preferred); 2 years trade school/college or journeyman equivalent.
  • Proficient in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing; adept at reading blueprints/submittals/specs/one-lines.
  • Working knowledge of ATS/UPS/switchgear; exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
