Job summary

Holder Construction in the United States is seeking a skilled MEP Coordinator for a Richmond, VA project. This full-time, in-person role supports our MEP team on a mission critical data center facility, ensuring mechanical and electrical systems are installed to program specifications.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of commercial construction with large MEP systems and experience managing data center builds, coordinating trades, schedules, and budgets to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Extensive experience managing the construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and electrical construction for Mission Critical facilities and related projects.
• Supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from pre-construction through project close-out.

About the Role

We are looking for a MEP Coordinator to join our MEP team on our project in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and electrical construction for Mission Critical facilities and related projects.
• Supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from pre-construction through project close-out.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Extensive experience managing the construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
• Strong ability to manage relationships with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and clients, while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
