MEP Construction Project Lead

Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support Starship facility growth. You will own full lifecycle of complex projects, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery across sites.

Responsibilities include project scheduling, cost control, approvals, and real estate coordination. PE license and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, architecture, or construction management.
• 2+ years of construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience (preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred).
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or structural design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of projects with on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Manage multi-discipline construction projects in field and office.
• Act as overall construction project manager and owner.
• Perform project control tasks including scheduling and cost control.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal customers.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time.
• Provide budgetary costs based on preliminary scope.
• Gather proposals and assign contracts after all proposals.
• Facilitate city, county, and governmental approvals.
• Coordinate project implementation and track status.
• Coordinate with end users for building operations and maintenance.
• Support space allocation, adjudication, and real estate tasks.
