Job summary

Global Group in Boston seeks a MEP Commissioning Agent to plan, execute, and document the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects.

You will work with owners, design engineers, contractors, equipment vendors and facilities staff to verify that systems are installed, started, tested and fully documented in alignment with construction documents.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of BAS field/operational experience.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Position Summary:

The Commissioning Agent will support the planning, execution, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems commissioning for new construction and renovation projects, and for retro-commissioning of MEP systems in existing buildings. The Commissioning Agent will collaborate with owners, design engineers, contractors, equipment vendors and manufacturers, and facilities staff to verify that MEP systems are installed, started, tested, and documented in accordance with the construction documents.

Position Requirements:

• 5-10+ years' field and/or operational experience involving building automation systems (BAS) construction. (Current BAS field technicians looking for a career pivot, while still applying their professional skills, are encouraged to apply.)
• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or related field (preferred but not required).
