Home Chef in Illinois is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support Menu Planning, KPI tracking, R&D process planning, and general menu maintenance. You will balance and publish Core, Family, and Extras menus, run ad-hoc analyses, collect cross-functional requests, and collaborate on strategic menu decisions to optimize food cost and profitability.

The role requires a four-year degree and 2+ years in a fast-paced environment, with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and a passion for food.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a rigorous fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives simultaneously with a results-oriented approach.
• Strong Excel/Google sheets experience.
• Independent self-starter inclined towards finding solutions without significant oversight.
• Passion for food and ability to taste and provide thorough feedback on every meal and ingredient sample test in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Balance and publish menus with tactical inputs in Home Chef systems for Core, Family, and Extras menus.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify actionable takeaways for future menus.
• Collect cross-functional menu requests and ensure execution.
• Collaborate with menu team and cross functional partners on strategic menu recommendations.
