Job summary

Florida State University’s Institute on Digital Health and Innovation seeks Postdoctoral Scholars for multiple openings in the College of Nursing. The program offers mentored research, development of independent projects, and broad networking with leaders in digital health and HIV-related work in Tallahassee, FL.

Scholars will craft an individual development plan, publish research findings, and pursue career development awards while engaging with diverse disciplines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or appropriate terminal degree conferred within the last five years.
• Background in behavioral and social science research.
• Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Experience focused on HIV prevention and care, mental health, stigma and social determinants of health.
• Interest in advancing digital health, AI, and technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
• Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research, teamwork, and improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Mentored research and professional development activities with IDHI leadership and faculty.
• Develop an individual development plan with training goals and activities.
• Engage in networking opportunities with professionals and faculty across disciplines.
• Develop research portfolios and publish manuscripts; pursue NIH training or career development awards.
• Balance collaborative and independent research with mentorship guidance.
• Protected time and mentorship to develop independent research ideas and portfolios.
