Job summary

AmeriCorps PASS program in California invites full-time members to mentor and support high-need youth (grades 3–12) across multiple sites. Roles include 1:1–3 mentoring, academic tutoring, attendance support, and school engagement, with realistic weekday hours before, during and after school.

The program offers a generous living allowance, education awards upon completion, health coverage, and training, with opportunities for relocation reimbursements and professional development.

Qualifications

• Full-time, 10-month commitment Sept 2026–June 2027.
• Mature, motivated self-starter with reliable transportation.
• Must meet AmeriCorps eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enrol and serve high-need students (grades 3–12) at 30 partnering schools in CA.
• Provide mentoring 1:1–3, group discussions, academic support and parent outreach.
• Plan youth leadership projects and participate in service events.
• Record student information and recruit student volunteers.
