Herc Rentals Inc. is seeking a Mechanic B at our WA Seattle facility to maintain and repair a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose engines and hydraulic systems, and mentor junior mechanics while following safety and branch procedures.

The role requires 2 years of heavy equipment repair experience, tool ownership, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay range is $32-$38 per hour with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Ownership of hand/air/electric tools for repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all Herc owned fleet at your branch.
• Operate and test equipment to ensure quality standards.
• Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Perform major repairs with diagnostic tools and minimal supervision.
• Enter work orders and order parts in the fleet management system.
