Position Details

This role is Fee-For-Service

The mental health worker (MHW) is a key member of Merakey's interdisciplinary, clinicbased behavioral health team. In this role, the MHW/Therapist delivers highquality, personcentered therapeutic services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, while promoting strong client engagement and ongoing retention.

Core responsibilities include completing intake evaluations, conducting comprehensive assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and coordinating care in close collaboration with clinical leadership. The MHW/therapist ensures services align with best practices and organizational standards, supports overall client wellness, and meets established productivity expectations as an essential member of the outpatient treatment program.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a humanservices field such as Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Psychology.
• 1 - 2 years of prior clinical or counseling experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of evidencebased and/or recoveryoriented treatment practices and demonstrate strong documentation, organizational, and timemanagement skills.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is required.
• Must be able to work in person with adults, children, and adolescents and maintain a schedule that supports billing approximately 15-20 direct client contact hours per week.
