Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic care for Veterans. The RN coordinates care, triages emergencies, and collaborates with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive, veteran-centered care.

The role emphasizes leadership in delivering evidence-based practices, coordination across the care team, and ensuring smooth BHIP

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for clinical duties.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current license.
• BSN or higher typically preferred for advancement; MSN for senior roles.
• Bridge program candidates may qualify for RN positions before licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients including triage of emergencies.
• Administer medications according to policy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and team members.
• Promote BHIP implementation and measure care outcomes.
