The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services seeks a Transporter (Mental Health Technician) to support the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health. Primary duties involve transporting consumers and assisting with non-professional direct care in an inpatient setting.

De‑escalation and safety are essential components of the role. Applicants must pass an OSBI background check and hold a valid driver's license.

Formación

• MHT I – No experience required
• Pass OSBI background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 25 pounds

Responsabilidades

• Primary duty is transportation of consumers.
• Provide non-professional direct care in an inpatient setting.
• Participate in de-escalation activities and ensure consumer safety.
